as i write, it is past 7 in the evening. my knees are killing me, i have a headache and have been having a bloody nose. it would be safe to say i feel like i have been hit by a train.

friday i worked the neuter-a -thon for the humane alliance. 237 cats were neutered. several male cats were spayed. (who knew HA did sex change operations?) i worked in recovery. on my knees for about 41/2 hours. up and down. it was really pretty awesome. i was able to watch several spay surgeries. we were literally right there with the dr's and techs. cats were handed to me and my crew of 2 for recovery on the beach. there we gave the sugar lips and checked their breathing. when the cats began to lick their lips and open their eyes, we administered pain meds. transmucal i thin they called it. no shots! there were little kitties and big ones, old and new. there were feral cats as well.
i was proud to be part of the crew.

today, just a few shots form the humane society. proud to say animals were being adopted before i could get their image posted!
is it really going to snow?
