Hello from Kansas City, Missouri!

at the end of the day three, it is already becoming a blur for me. oh yes, we slept in this morning....nice. this image is of Josh solving his boredom issues. he has managed to read about 180 pages in his book, that's good. emmarae has already read 3 books and is on number 4 at the moment.

this evening we had dinner at Arthur Bryant's. let me say, as we approached the corner of the building, I thought the joint was closed! Sort of reminded me of the Snappy Lunch in Mt. Airy. They have not changed one thing about the place in 50 years. upon entering the bullet proof door, and through the real entrance, there was a hustling flow of people cooking, ordering and eating. don and i shared a rack of delicious ribs....mmmm. it was a really cool place loaded with atmosphere and the most simple menu of meat, beans and fries.

we had tickets for the Kansas City Royal's game and we headed off to the park. this is an old complex, under an 820 million dollar renewal???(this according to the golfcart driver.

it was a great day!!
