Bulbs, Ball, Boobs, Bull and a boy....
an evening in the front yard.

This evening was for the cows, literally! Josh has been digging a hole....why you ask? because he can. So, he was out digging in the hole and decided he wanted to pet and feed the cows. interject here, they are not"pet" cows. So...I offer-up my bulb arrangement from Easter. Josh tosses them to the curious cows. They are not so interested. Josh dashes into the house and comes back with 7 grapes, 2/3rds of an onion,a handful of lettuce and an apple. So....the cows become VERY interested in what Josh is doing in the cow pasture. As they approach, Josh inquires, "which one is the bull?"hmmm I reply, "the one without boobs." He bends down and looks carefully at each one. I regretted the words immediately. This lead to a discussion of varying sizes of the "boobs" the cows had. I established the correct term, udders. Explaining why some were full and smaller...who had babies and who didin't...."hey, why don't you go check the fridge for more food" i ask. He is a bit like Dora in Finding Nemo...mention or see something shiney and he is gone. Good, subject has changed.
While Josh runs back in and comes out with old bananas, a small steer playfully, kid you not, rolls the ball with his nose. It was cute. He fed the cows lettuce and let them smell the baggie....one cow now named Spot, he has a spot over one eye, ran off with the baggie.....hysterical! Josh chases Spont in earnest, thinking the cow would eat the bag..... the cow drops the bag and all is well. Later we let the dogs out and they ran around the yard playing tag with each other.
It was a super evening. And now I must close, Josh is talking to me at the moment and I can't seem to think clearly.
